Luka Zakrajsek

Luka Zakrajsek is a Computer Science student at Faculty of computer and information science at University of Ljubljana. In 2012 he graduated with honors from High School of Electrical and Computer Technologies in Ljubljana.

From 2007 to 2009 he worked as a web developer at computer company Domex Elektronika. In July 2009 he joined XLAB Research and Development. There he developed student competition platform, Challenge:Future. He also developed Arzenal, a virtual treasure trove of national heritage for Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. In summer 2010 he developed web application for research project XtreemOS, an operating system for Grids where he got some experience with Distributed Computing Systems. From 2011 onwards, he worked at the FP7 European research project Contrail, where he gained a lot of experience in the field of cloud computing. In May 2012 he began to develop Koofr, Hybrid cloud storage interface.

Luka has a long experience with a plethora of programming languages (Scala, Python, Javascript, Java, Ruby, C#, C, Objective-C, etc.) and multiple databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis. Additionally, he has also developed applications for mobile platforms Android, iOS and HTML5.
